It may be done under local/ general anaesthesia.
This surgery enhances the size and shape of underdeveloped or small breasts. A silicone or saline-filled implant is carefully placed behind the breast tissue or muscle through a small incision, typically about 2 inches, in the lower breast fold, around the areola, or in the axilla (underarm).
