After an OPD consultation, if your doctor has advised hospitalisation for any medical care or surgical procedure, submit all necessary details asked by admission staff on the ground floor. This indicates admission and your preferred room type.
In case of surgical intervention, kindly first confirm the date of surgery by the respective surgeon and do all admission processes as prior allotment of operation theatre will be required.
At the time of the pre-admission process, you would be required to pay a certain amount as a deposit to confirm admission. Our admission department will guide you with further process.
We will try to give you possible comfort with your choice of bed/room, this may not be always possible as it depends on the discharge and medical status of the previous patient, which can not be predicted.
Please bring the following items during your stay.
Ongoing medications, along with all relevant medical reports or X-rays.
A list of any known allergies or sensitivities.
It is advisable to keep some cash with you in case of an emergency.
Our daycare facility caters to patients who are undergoing minor surgery/procedures and don’t need overnight stays. For daycare admission, call:+91 79 6677 0000.
Please come with a PAN card/Aadhar card copy of the patient. In the case of a minor, either the parents' PAN card/Aadhar card is acceptable.
After reaching the KD hospital, you or a relative can proceed with admission at the ground floor, IP department.
Request to show doctor’s note or surgery advice letter. After the necessary documentation, you need to make the advance deposit payment through cheque, cash or UPI.
If you are a corporate client submit a credit memo/letter with the billing class or ID card is required in case of an emergency.
In case of a room upgrade other than the insurance package/approved package, you will be responsible for paying an additional amount.
During the stay, our dedicated and trained staff is there to guide and facilitate.
Primary interaction with doctors or medical officers provides accurate and full information along with past medical history or medication. During the treatment, inform the doctor or nurses if any sudden changes occur in the condition. Follow the explained treatment plan regularly during your stay.

Only one relative will allowed to stay with you during the hospital stay.
Our kitchen is well equipped to serve balanced diet meals. The patient will get food as per the advice of a dietitian, home food may permitted on medical grounds. For relatives, we have a canteen on the second floor- the service building. Charges will be extra in the case of food served in a room for relatives.
We would appreciate it if you settle any outstanding amount within 24 hours. (Please note that admission/security deposit will not adjusted against these charges)
In case of a change in your room type (higher or lower) after admission, please communicate with our staff. We will try our best to accommodate your request, subject to the availability of beds.
We value the support of your family and friends and know how they are important in your recovery process.
General visiting hours are from 11 AM to 1 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM. To ensure the comfort of all our patients, we kindly ask that you limit visitors during these times.
ICU visiting hours: To minimise the risk of infection, only one visitor at a time is permitted for up to 10 minutes during the hours of 12 PM to 1 PM and 5 PM to 6 PM. We kindly ask visitors to wait for their turn before entering these sensitive areas.
Please note that visitor access may be restricted based on the patient’s medical condition and/or specific needs.
Attendant and visitor passes will be issued at the admission desk. Kindly ensure that your attendants and visitors wear or display these passes when they are in the hospital. If a pass is lost, please contact the admission desk at the main entrance for assistance.
To protect children from potential infections, children under the age of 12 are not permitted on patient floors.
Sanitise hands before and after visiting.
No spitting/smoking inside the campus premises.
Outside food & beverages are not allowed inside the campus.
The use of mobile phones is restricted in areas where medical equipment and patient monitoring systems are in use.
For your safety, please refrain from handling or repairing any electrical items, adjusting oxygen or suction equipment, or changing the thermostat settings. Our trained staff from each department are available to assist you.
Our IP pharmacy provides all the medicines for inpatients. We do not permit medicines & consumables from outside.
Smoking and chewing tobacco is strictly prohibited.
